hope ours are on its way.. sometimes the mail is late depending on your location. I knew one here that he took almost 3 weeks to receive the letter after nominated. where are you located by the way?

I hope so too. I'm getting a little nervous but I guess they would have contacted me if something was missing. I'm in Calgary.

I see... they would not contact you if something missing they will just return the application that is before they will issue your file number. but in our case we have file number already. are you in AWE application?

Yes, AWE.

I read on this forum that if there is something that they need additional clarification on they will call you (unlike CIC).
I received the file number, they did not call, and I know that I fulfill all the requirements so hopefully everything will work out.

all we can do is pray and everything will be alright laisa. keep us posted about your time line. thanks

Hi, I don't know how to answer my friend's question about AINP. His situation is this,
he entered Canada as a cashier, Nov 6, 2012 then after 6 months he had a retail supervisor paper, so he was 1 year in AB with full time work, is he qualified under AINP-AWE?
Thanks for the answer.
I told him about my own opinion that he is qualified but he needs a 2nd or 3rd or even 4th opinion.

In my opinion, he does qualify.

I was also confused about this but, as I understand it, if you are currently working in a skilled occupation you need one full year of experience in any occupation. The AINP site says "experience" not "skilled experience".

He is cutting it close with the fact that he just reached 1 year of experience but if he was not unemployed at any time he should be good.

i dont think he does qualify.
to qualify Under AWE category you need either: *one year of full time skilled work experince in alberta under noc 0,A,B in the last two years preceding your application submission to alberta.
*or two years of semi skilled and/or unskilled full time work experience in alberta under noc C and few selected D in the last three years preceding your application submission to alberta.
plus you need to be working in alberta full time in one of the eligible occupations and holding a valid work permit at the time of application submission and have a copy of a valid general not academy english exam reslut either (ielts OR celpip).
please note, this is only my understanding of their requirements,i quote all the above informations from AINP website.so others may disagree or have a differet opinion from mine.
i would suggest you call the AINP toll free number and explain the situation to one of the agents,he/she should be able to provide an accurate answer.
good luck :)

HI, i am thinking about applying under international graduation as well, do you mind me what document you have collected and submitted? especially the pay stubs, do you need the entire years of pay stubs?

appreciate if you can let us know
