AINP-SRS Post-Graduate category timeline (Post Feb 11th 2014)

My timeline is as follows:

AINP Post graduate category

Application sent : Mar 7, 2014
File number : May 1, 2014
Still waiting for the nomination

In general, it took 1 month to be nominated after we receive a file number. But I am waiting for more than 2 months since I got the file number.
How long does it take to be nominated under SRS Post graduate category?

Is there anyone who has the similar timeline as me?
please give me some advice

What is your NOC? I know people who are still waiting after 5 months of getting file number in SRS-PGWP category. These people are mostly in NOC 6### level jobs. I also know people who got their nomination within a month of getting file number. These people are in NOC 23## level jobs.

I applied for SRS -POSTGRADUATE category on july 5th 2014.
My noc is 2132 - mechanical engineer graduated from university of calgary
i have 1.5 years of experience and have full time job offer

is the timeline of 8-12 months is for everyone or are there any exceptions as well?

is anyone receiving file number, i applied on 25 April and received confirmation e-mail on 30 April. But now its almost 3 months, nothing hear from ainp yet.

Hi everyone,
I have a quick question about AINP SRS Post graduate application. I have got nomination but unfortunately laid off last month. Could any one let me know the next step. I dont know if can process my application further towards PR. i called AINP , but they told to send the sattus change form and wait for their decision. SO i am extremely confused. Could any one please guide me regarding that.

Congrats on receiving your nomination. Did you get any notification since you received your File no by email and today indicating there was a progress on your file or any e-mail conformation indicating your file was being worked on/being processed or nomination being sent.

It would be helpful if we had that information to know what we can expect.

Thanks. No, they didn't contact me or anything. In fact, I had called them around 20th Nov, and they had told me that my file will be processed next April. No employer checks nothing. Just got the package today. You will mostly get yours soon. I think it's due to Canadapost's delay. My certificate is dated 3 Dec, and I got it today after two weeks.

Hopefully mine should be on its way was well. Hope that the difference in our NOC codes isnt an issue.

It came by regular Canada Post. Actually, another friend of mine got his nomination too last week (nomination dated 3 dec too). He had applied in May I think and has the same NOC as me.

Since AINP has already finished this year's quota, I think the last certificates were sent out on Dec 3. Maybe you can call them and find out.
