Hi all,

I started working full time on January 4th right after I graduated. I applied PGWP on January 21st because I was waiting for the final grades. I received the permit on April 1st. So between January 4th and 21st I was working illegally because I cannot work for more than 20 hours per week before applying for PGWP. I am just wondering if this is a big problem? Because I have to write the start date on my job description and by simply reasoning they would know I do not have a work permit then.

Has anyone been rejected because of this?

Thanks!

Thanks for answering! Yes I know it is not allowed and I didn't realize that when doing it. So my question is if I write the job start date as early January, will they notice that I worked overtime when I was technically a student?
