Hello guys

I applied for my ainp in February 2015 and my file was received by ainp on 23rd February 2015, but I haven't heard anything from them and my wp expires in October. Did anyone receive ainp who applied around January or February 2015? I applied under employer driven international grade catagory. Please reply me if anyone have heard of anything.

Thank you.

How did you apply? Did you have an advisor to contact to? It seems odd to have your Nominee Program application over a year and not hear anything back.

I applied by myself. But I am not Alberta student. I finished my study in Ontario and my friends applied on same day and even he hasn't heard anything.

Thanks for your reply

My 2 cents would be finding a person (Immigration Coordinator) to talk to. Ask if they could direct you to the right department/person. You might want to write these people about your concerns especially it's been over a year: ainp.info@gov.ab.ca

If I were you, I would call or even pay a visit to find the person. It's better to talk to a person face-to-face in most cases.

You can also call the Immigrate to Alberta Information Service directly. Telephone service is only available during the specified hours:

Monday to Friday: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mountain Time
Use the time converter to convert to your time zone.
Toll-free: 1-877-427-6419 from anywhere in Alberta
Telephone: 780-427-6419 from outside Alberta

The processing time for EDS stream is approximately 2 years, so your result will come out around Feb 2017.

Good luck

Thank you all for your response. I think i am gonna have to apply for wp extension because i already talked to mla and inquired about my file but they didn't tell anything that i didn't know
