You can give CIC a call and inquire about the status of your PR card ... apparently not everybody gets their ECAS showing PR card info but it doesnt mean your card is not being processed.

Hi guys! I am an AINP October applicant. I would like to know if there's anyone of you who has an idea on how we'll be able know that the processing of our papers started through ecas site?

On my Ecas it only states two things :


1.) We received your application for permanent residence on December 9, 2013.

2.) Medical results have been received.


I am just wondering how will you know that it is already "in pocess" will they email you? or will it show on your ecas?

Hello any nov applicant still waiting for ip, dm and ppr? I m nov 12 applicant still waiting for ip and dm. They requested me schedule A document and i submitted it on 23 july and again on 5 august. Anybody know how long it will take get ppr. Is already done more than 9 months i am so worried. Apllied gcmc notes last month around 20 july may be get it soon. Suggest me something. Thanks

I recently renewed my passport to get an updated machine readable one. My PR application has records of my old passport. Should I email/fax biodata page of my new passport to Nova Scotia and/or Ottawa? Or should I just wait till I get my PPR and send the new one all at once - along with an explanation? Any help in this matter would be very much appreciated. Thankss Smiley

I would suggest send emails with a copy of your passport to both Sydney and Ottawa and let them know.
