electronic,
if your case is within normal time, i do not suggest you to order, even it is free for personal use. coz they will make a mark on your case when they open it.

it is just like they do not want us to email them as they said " please be patient and do not email us about your application process coz that will delay .....".
i thought your case are in process, in that case, you should order one, maybe it could be a reminder for them to update your case. Good luck!
it is free to order for personal use.

If your documents are complete and no problem, they will ask you to pay RPRF first and then your case will turn to in process.
hope that helps.

;D bukyder we have the same concerns...hopefully everything will be ok soon...keep us updated try reading this link it may help you

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2013/ob485A.asp

Ok thank you once again. hope we'll get approved before our work permits expire.
by the way,did you pay your RPRF and submitted police clearances along with your application?
I did mine and hopefully it will speed up the processing time.

Is it possible that you can get ppr request without your status being updated after medical received?Just wondering since my status has not being updated to in process even after paying rprf and sending pc.
Thanks in advance

I started thinking the same. I have a friend whom this happened to him. He was an out-land applicant though.

i have submitted the police clearance together with my application last october 22...they did asked for the RPRF last march 20 and i did pay it the same day...then my status was changed to IP that day too...actually the email for the RPRF was just a reminder so yes i think paying your RPRF early is an advantage...yeah me too im so praying for good news everyday..
