I received my passport and will land on July 23.

I choose to wait for the appointment since it's a far drive to the border from Edmonton where I live. I know many of you drove to Carway in a heartbeat, but I'm just lazy and too cheap. :p

Thank you everybody who participates in this post and good luck. I will update the procedure of landing after I landed.

Hey guys, I would like some opinion please and thank you. My boyfriend is a November 2nd inland applicant and his application is still Application Recieved. They have asked for his PCC from Australia and they received it May 15th and there hasn't been any updates since. His office is Sydney, Nova Scotia. Since they don't like to reply he emailed the Ottawa office regarding why his application isn't going into processing and they replies this :

Dear Sir/Madam

Our office confirms that your application is being processed as per our regulatory timeline.
Please note that we cannot confirm when your file will be ready for finalization at this moment.

Please ensure when submitting documents that they are still valid and will not expire within 6 months as this could delay your application.

We appreciate your patience and keeping correspondence with our office to a minimum. In order to process request efficiently, we will not be responding to duplicate requests.

****what do you guys think this email is saying? Is he in processing yet and it never updated online or are they still getting things together. I would appreciate your input very much. :)

Hi I had the same issue and I sent an email to Ottawa and I got the exact same reply. Then I sent an email go Sydney and they said it's processing in Sydney. So it's just an automated email.
And our files get processed after 3 months if any additional documents requested. That's what my experience is. Good luck
