AINP oct 2013 PR tracking

I am completely restless. It has been almost 2 months (since April 17/18) since "decision made" . Although I made a mistake on my mailing address, it was updated by Ottawa (whom I emailed) on May 5. Since then, nothing. I have not gotten anything and it's been well over a month. No email, no letter. They did not even reply to my email that I sent on May 16 asking whether they had sent any documents to the wrong address.
I recognize that the agents are extremely busy and that they are human but I was expecting at least a quick "yes we did. no we did not". A 2 month wait during which you have no idea whether you got the PR or not is plainly excruciating. I ordered CAPS notes on the 16 and should get them next week. Hopefully, this will shed some light on what is happening.
Should my Canadian common-law and myself ask my local MP for assistance? I am reluctant at the idea but I am becoming pretty desperate at this point.

He applied in early June 2013 and he got DM in December 2013 he waited until April 2014 for his PPR in the mean while he tried to contact the call center wrote an email to CPC and he got the same standard reply "Officer will review your file and contact you regarding the decision in the due course" he got frustrated and he contacted the local MP and told him about his case, MP then contacted the CIC and his VO told the MP that they sent him the PPR email WAY back in Feb, my friend was shocked and he was like i did not received any correspondence from the CIC and the VO told the MP that tell him to just sent the passport with his UCI and FN# and thats what he did and he got his PR visa the week after that.

I recommend that you go ahead and contact the MP, MP wont be able to expedite it but he will at least tell you if cic has updated your address or not and how long before your get the COPR.

Thanks Ivan. I will wait for my CAPS notes and only then will I ask my MP for help. The notes will show whether a visa was issued or not. Hopefully, I'll get the papers before that. As for your friend, this is insane that he managed to patiently wait for over 3 months! I won't be able to do that.

Yes I did and I keep doing it on a regular basis because I got my AOR sent straight to my spam folder. Nothing. Thanks though Navi!

Guys, I have a theory that the CIC office send out PPR batch like once a month with a certain number of applications as they can only stamp so many passports at a given time cause we would all send our passports in with a lightning speed once we get PPR.

So maybe most of Oct applicants who has DM will get PPR in mid-late of the month. Just a guess.



Btw, What is local MP office ? What does MP stand for ?
