Hi,

Today my file got transferred to Seattle from Buffalo. I received an e-mail indicating this and mentioned not to request the status of your file within ninety (90) days of the date of this letter.
I did my medicles on Feb, 2011 and reached Ottawa on Feb 10, 2011
Anyone here got file transfered to Seattle?

I received an email from buffalo saying my file is transfered to Detriot. Please share your experiences that has their file in Detriot regarding document request and timeline - such as when to expect to hear from them.

I applied Buffalo on 20th July 2010 and got my medical request on January 2011. It says they started my application process on 18th January 2011. I did my medicals and send 10th of February. Today I got the file transfer notice email indicate that it transfered the file to Seattle from Buffalo...

You are lucky man, my application reached on July 16ht and they started processing documents on January 14th. I still do not have a medical request or PPR.

I think I screwed up with my medical. I did it before medical request. This caused some confusion and was not linked to my file in Buffalo until end of March. I guess I pray the price for rushing.

Don't worry about that, my file never got transfer it stayed in buffalo but i got my permanent resident approved last week it doesn't matter as far as your re sure they have your medical with them just relax all will be well.

I just checked my online status at CIC website and it shows the status as DECISION MADE.

On clicking the status, it says

We started processing your application on November 23, 2010.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

And as per the tracking details, they have dispatched the passports to my Attorney in US. Hopefully I should be able to get from my Attorney in a day or two so that I can complete the landing formality by this weekend.

Hello Everyone,

I got my Passports back today with Immigrant VISA stamped and will be doing the landing formalities tomorrow either at Coutts or Carway border.

Will update you with my experience.
