I also applied on 27th July 2010 and my Cashier cheque got cashed on 21 Sep 2010. You can also like into
your money order status. You should have receipt of the money order and it contains a number , call up that
number and give them money order number and they will update with the status.

Hi Everyone,

I submitted my application on July 26th and haven't heard anything. I paid through the money order and it is difficult to figure out if CIC has inchashed it or not. In between I moved to new city and updated my address but really worried for my application as I submitted it 2 days before my AINP nomination expires.

Can somebody suggest me any alternative way to figure out if the check is incashed or not ? Any help will be really appreciated.

Guys my application was delvered on July 2. Received Medical/AOR on Dec 30. Was out of town saw it earlier this week 8)

are they going to transfer your file from buffalo to india?

do you have any updates on this because even i am moving to india next month so what is the process to update address to CIC. i havent received any update on AOR/Med as of today.

As far as I know, they do not transfer the case from US to India.. To update the address, I sent an email to buffalo CIC and also faxed the updated address to AINP.

Following is the response I got from CIC when inquired about move to India-

Moving will not affect your application, however, if you are required to come to Buffalo for an interview it is your responsibility to ensure you have valid status to enter the United States. Also, upon a favourable decision, your passport must be sent to Buffalo for visa issuance and we will return the passport to a Canadian or US address only. There are no exceptions.

Hi Qureshi,

Thanks for thE insight. I purchased the money order through USPS and there is no contact infrmation on the receipt. I checked with USPS people and they said that the only way to check is to submit a form and after 2-3 months they will tell if the money order is incashed or not. If the it is not incashed they will issue a new money order to me but than it will create more problems.

From where you purchased the money order ?

hello guys I'm able to log onto ecas last week after 4 months of waiting since my bank draft was en-cashed it says in process, they start processing your application on Jan 7, 2011. I've tried to check again this morning samething in process, they start processing your application on Jan 7, 2011 but on the top

your current mailing address
(my husband address in canada)

in process.....
what does it means? do i need to update my address or it is possible that they already mailed the AOR? thanks

hello all. Today (January 18, 2011), I was able to see my status on e-case website. It says "We started processing your application on January 14, 2011". My application reached Buffalo on July 16, 2010

How long does it take to get AOR and medical request after being able to see the status?
