Hi all:

I am planning to apply for AINP nomination this week under the international graduate workers stream.
I read some conflicting posts about how the cap has been reached. Is there a cap? or can I still apply?
Is anyone else looking to apply around this month?

Also I have 2 years left on my work permit. Do you guys think that will be enough time to get my application to the stage where I may be able to bridge my work permit?

Thanks

Are you an engineer in Alberta?
if you are, you may eligible to apply under Engineering Occupations Category, it would be faster.
good luck

It seems like I cannot apply under that. I am an Engineer, yes, however, I am an EIT only.

They require a no objection letter from APEGA which seems to be for P.Eng? Correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks

Hi its good you can move to BC as the processing time there is 1 year , instead why you are wasting time more than 2 yrs in Alberta as I came to know AINP is filled with files its hard hereany of my frnds moved to BC

I have a job in Alberta.

Hi folks

I juat submitted my AINP application on June 24 2015. The processing time according to AINP website is at least 14 months and I have friends who applied in April 2014 but havent received their nomination yet. I dont understand why but seems like the processing time for post graduate worker category is ridiculously longer than 2013.

For APEGA, you don't need to be a P. Eng
