AINP - does e-mail asking for updates mean anything?

As the subject:
we received an e-mail from Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program Officer asking, did our details changed since we applied.
Also asked to respond by a given date so they continue to review our application.

Does it mean they are going through it or will it be updated and put "on a shelf" for another few months?

Applied 2nd of March 2015, received the number 13th of March (less then 2 weeks after).
