After sending passport, how long does CIC take to stamp the PR visa?

My passport was delivered to cic on 4th Jan. Have you received any updates as yet?

Mine was received by CIC on Dec 28th and I got my approval on CIC yesterday so, judging by that I'd say that your approval, in case everything is right, should be coming next week.

I sent copy of my passport and pictures on January 4th, CIC received it on January 5th. Approved online on January 10th but still no COPR. I sent email and they said they received the documents but they do not know when the COPR will be sent.
Anyone else in similar situation? Seems like they have huge backlog.

Yes. My passports were delivered on 4th Jan to CIC. Have not received approval as yet.

Congrats. I got my PP on the 26th afternoon too, started the car and crossed the border for the landing right away

Hi everyone... i am not sure if Im at the right forum but I really need your help please. I received a letter from immigration asking for a copy of my husband’s passport along with his eye comour and ht.... im so confused... he is from Iraq and Iraq is not a visa exempt country... did they make a mistake.... is this good news... please help.

I just checked Canada Post tracker and the COPR was sent yesterday so I think they are working on the those one which were received around January 4, 5.

My passport was received at CIC on Jan 25. It seems 3-4 weeks' wait time ... Anybody else who submitted PP around same time?

My passport was received by CIC on 29th & today I see activity on Fedex tracker that package has been picked up and will arrive overnight tomorrow. Profile is updated today as well, says the expiiry date of document (visa I think) of November, which I presume is my medical date. No mention of my daughter but maybe because she is a US citizen and would not need a visa to enter Canada.

It looks like it was pretty fast for me. Almost 1.5 weeks.

My passport copy was received by CIC on Jan 30 and on Feb 6 my account changed to Approved. And my prepaid Xpresspost tracking shows that Canada post processed it the same day.
