After sending passport, how long does CIC take to stamp the PR visa?

My tracking activated today. Was so glad to see the status..no change or email in cic account.

This loooong wait hopefully going to end now. Details below

I've just checked my account and now is saying: "Final decision made / Your application was approved."
Now, I'm gonna keep my eyes on Canada Post tracker to see when they will send my passport back. I let you guys know as soon as I have any update.

Ya, it's taking time...May I ask when did your passport got delivered in Ottawa?

It was delivered on 10th of October. so I am expecting at the end of the month.

Same thing as above Tahir, they might have already approved your application , try giving them a call. CIC sometimes doesn't update your profile and they have a tendency to delay sending the passports out sometimes.

I have been noticing that people has sent their passport to ottawa. However, in my case it has been submitted in Abu Dhabi office. I am living in Jeddah and passport is submitted in Abu Dhabi office. is there any one else whose passport is sent to Abu Dhabi office. Please let me know if you have received any response from them. My passport was received by them on 20 Sep and still there is no response.

Also, if any one can help me how to check the tracker.

I got PPR on 28th of August and submitted passport on 1st September to Ottawa

But I am still waiting for COPR and visa.
I emailed cic and they told me to wait till 31st of October.

The wait for visa and COPR can be from 2-9 weeks or so I heard.

Is this length of time normal? I am starting to get slightly anxious
