Hello All,

I heard some news saying if PGWP Extension is Rejected, when we apply for Visitor record to stay in Canada, There are more chances of Rejecting the visiting record as well. Is that true??

I would like to know the truth behind it.

There are no statistics available, however this is probably accurate. If you are applying for a PGWP extension without qualifying for one, this is essentially an abuse of the process and IRCC may not be as willing to approve a visitor record. Ultimately you should always expect that you are increasing the risk of your situation by applying for something you don't qualify for.
