Hi All!

My sister in law is a protected refugee and her and her two kids (Dec 2017 applicant) all received their PRs today! Her last dependent is her husband, who remains in their home country. I included him in her application package, checked off that he is a dependent and that YES he will be accompanying her. We also paid the required fees for everyone and I also included his completed forms, his supporting documents and his photos.

My question is what would be the typical time frame for the embassy in their home country to contact him? Would it be in a week and then he does what is asked and then waits for his call to pick up his PR documentation at the embassy and then proceed to Canada? Would they email my sister in law tell her what her husband needs to do now (ie medical, biometrics etc). He does not have an email address and the only one on file is my sister in laws.

Any thoughts or past experiences would be much appreciated!
