After AOR and Before PPR, Can I cancel my dependent spouse’s PR application

I live in Canada and spouse is back home.
PR application is in process and in final stage. Spouse is included in my PR application as dependent.
If we are divorced and I update CIC about the divorce then what will happen?
Will she be removed from my PR application and only I will get the PR ?

Yes u can do that, Ircc will give u limited time may be 30 days to submit your divorce certificate or any other supporting documents . If u have kids with her u may also need to show legal custody of the kids.

PS: I would recommend try saving your marriage if u can
