it is very disappointing that after waiting for 3-4 month I am getting my file back.

I had a very heated conversation with my agent regarding that. I am completely lost but lets see what is the reason.

So everyone whos file got rejected lets join and share our further steps.

I am sorry to hear that.
Little bit scared since I am also post june applicant. Because if they keep my file another 3 months and then return than I am dead meat. Can't make it to the cap.
For what reason they kept your file so long ? But please don't loose hope, still you can make it to the cap, since cap progress is slow until now.
By the way, could you please share if they charged your CC/BD ?
I hope you will get to the bottom of it.
All the best my friend.

Hi, I am very sorry to hear about your rejection.

Can I please ask
a) The reason for rejection
b) Was your banker's draft or credit card cashed? (this would indicate whether you had been rejected at the completeness check or eligiblity review stage)
c) What was your NOC code?

Wayne.

Please provide the letter details. It is quite disappointing. They should have allowed some transition period. The way they have done it, I have lost my trust in Canadian System. I am British Citizen and we had plan to invest large amount of money over there.
We were under impression that Canada is much better country than rest of the world. But now we feel it is not different. We may not apply for Canadian Immigration again. We believed in their system, otherwise there is no point to live in such a cold country. They should have understand that people are putting some time in making their decision and prepare the application. But they don't seem to bother at all.

My application was returned in July, due to a missing letter from employer. Dont give up,we reapplied under the new rules. Our paperwork was received in Canada on the 8th Nov and my cc was charged this morning. So stay strong . Good luck to all. Keep the forum strong.

Alas this is the fear of a lot of people. If they fail an eligiblity review for some tiny mistake they made on their forms etc, they'll have no opportunity to re-apply this year if their CAP fills up. Some caps will not fill up at all, but other caps will only take a few months to fill. Nurses will probably be next. We are cap 3131 so there's 300 already and it'll probably be full in a couple of months.

CIC have confirmed to various members in the post-June-26 thread that they have completed the eligibility reviews into early October. So that's all of July, August and September applicants had their eligibility reviews complete. They should normally expect to receive an AOR shortly afterwards - so either the AOR issuing team has a backlog of work to do, or CIC are deliberately withholding AORs.

Hi Zub2612,
I agree with you. They due not even have time with our applications. They do not communicate to let you know what is happening with your application. The earlier you know the decision the better. They spend time with it and finally return your file or reject you. It is really disturbing.

Well, depends on the individual, i have heard from friends and through reading from the forum, it all depends on what you have studied and how you are prepared to sacrifice to study again, before fitting yourself in their system.

To those who moving is a most, they have to wait till it is done.

Presently in a country where they have their own language it is a big problem to me. I do not know how to go about my business and other things in daily life, since i can not speak their language. Reason i am waiting to move to Canada.

hoping it works out.

Cheers

Hi dear

But major concern is my file my BD has not encashed till now and when I called CIO they did not get any information about my file.

O.K. I understand.
All hoep is not lost yet my friend.
It's disturbing that you dont have a clue about your appl. package.
But if the documents inside your appl. package are O.K. Then you can try few things,
1. Try to confirm again that BD is encahsed or not
2. I suppose you have proof of delivery of your package, next time when you call CIC, tell them that info.
3. Try to check again which address you sent your package ..Only about 2 months back CIC corrected their mailing address..If you sent express/courier mail to regular mailing address ( i.e. P.O BOX 7500) then it may be hanging in wrong place..May be you need to get it back by the same express service (?), I am not sure..

I hope you will find the package soon and get into the cap soon..
All the best.

When you started this thread you said you were getting your file back. Now you are saying that you do not know if you are getting your file back or not?

how did you know you're rejected? when did they receive your application?
My application was received on August 3 and I called CIO asking about the status of my application. They told me they cannot find my name in the system. I also called the bank to find out if my BD was encashed/cleared. The bank said it is still outstanding.
