I took a quick look (searched google), and it seems there have been no changes to criteria (including minimum funds). It really does seem to be some kind of bug....

It looks like they have updated the eligibility calculation with the new fund requirements but yet to update the new amounts in the site.

Thanks. I will raise a ticket and wait for another 24 hours to see if it can be rectified because i have already submitted details of the old profile for my provincial nomination. And if not i will create a new profile.
Pls How do you raise a ticket

I had a similar problem with my application (After ITA), all my scores disappeared and FSW/PNP was changed to "NOT MET"

After long research and stress for 2 days, I have an answer that makes me happy!

I went back and forth changing my POF (for 2 people) and reviewing my score. After numerous tries (used increments of $50,$100,$5's), The magic number for eligibility under FSW/PNP was $15,855. To be on the safe side, I entered $16,000 and now i'm free of stress :)

Thank you @Peacekeeper87 for suggesting that the POF requirements might have changed/updated.

Dear All,

has the revised POF requirement been published? Is it clear now that the technical glitch was because of that requirement only? I still haven't recreated my profile after it became ineligible on 1st Jan,2019. Just wanted to confirm the new POF requirements.

It looks like the new thresholds have been applied (maybe accidentally pushed to production?) and they are something like 2.1% above the old one - based on nagendrab0's experience.

I guess the moral of the story is to put a buffer for your funds (probably 5% should last for a year). And of course, have an appropriate buffer for your proof of funding to guard against changes in exchange rate (unless it's in Canadian Dollars)....

In any case, it seems really unfair for people to lose out on tie-breakers potentially due to this issue.

Before finally submitting my application, I tried changing my POF to $15,600, which is close $15,531 as required by the Canada immigration. It worked (previously I had to put $15,800).

I have successfully submitted my application on 6th Jan 2019 with $15,600 under POF.

Proof of funds: Hi all, I have a query. I have received ITA. In order to show POF, can i take money from my relatives and show as proof of funds. If yes, can we do the same with any relative or only immediate family member. Also is there any gift deed required. Does it need to be notarised?

Hi everyone,

As my EE profile was also found ineligible and I got ZERO for all sections of EE, I would need your support to answer several questions:

1) I hold a postgraduate certificate from a Canadian college. My Bachelor's is from my home country. Do I still need ECA for my Bachelor's degree? If yes, could not having ECA be a reason for me to get ZERO?

2) As of now, I have applied for PGWP and it is still in process. During EE application, there was kind of similar question to the following: Do you have a work permit to work at the job? I said yes, but was not sure what to answer. Should I answer as I have a work permit (which is still in process), or should I say I don't? Because if I say I don't have a WP, wouldn't it sound like working illegally?

3) Could the fact that I have applied for PGWP prevent from applying for EE at the same time?

Does anyone received any update from IRCC or from technical team that why they make the profiles ineligible?

Same issue happened with me as well, my file was in pool from last 6 months and I already mentioned the funds as $16000 for 1 person, can anyone suggest me any solution? Should I create a new profile again.

Anyone suggestion or recommendation is highly appreciable.

Normally your profile becomes ineligible because you no longer meet the minimum requirements. Check and make sure you still have 67 points (minimum) under FSW.

Age = 12
Education = 21
Language = 24
work experience = 15
Adaptability = 5

Total = 77 points

Fund mentioned = $16000

Still this happened.

The only thing which I changed yesterday in my file was funds from 15000 --> 16000.

Do I need to create a new profile ?

If your profile was dropped, yes, you need to create a new one. There is no way to restore a profile that got withdrawal.

I got an ineligibility mail too after 9 months that I opened my profile. Has anyone had this experience whereby your profile becomes ineligible and all the subsequent profiles created automatedly is made ineligible even when you're sure there's no reason for ineligibility in the first place. Please help, if you know the way forward.
