According to CSIS it only takes 2-4 weeks to complete UNLESS there is a red flag and CIC has to look into your file and do further investigations. Plus applicant has to submit the PCC so that is also a form of checks. Sometimes there might be a long wait because of the fact that there are so many applicants waiting to be screened or if CSIS requests information from an afghan official, they take their time in giving the info etc. Hard to say exactly how long it takes....others might have a different experience, this is just from what I have gatheredBahara2314 said:
