Thank you everyone!
My husband does live in Afghanistan and I didnt get married in Afghanistan. We met up in New delhi and did our Nikkah at a registered masjid, have stamps of Afghan embassy and New delhi marriage registry on our Nikkah, I have only submitted for Notes once and I got the Ppr letter before the Notes lol. I filled out the forms myself with no MP inquiry. I did email them like 4 times regarding our case. The reason I think our case went fast was he went did his first medical in June 2014 and in Oct 2014 we filed for Spouse sponsorship. So by the time they got our file...they had his medical already.

Oh wow...that's the first time I'm hearing of this happening but seems like it worked! Pray for us toooo please :'(

Typically 10 months

Wow, I just received my husband's GCMS notes and under assessments it says that eligibility is in process, securtiy and criminality have not been started yet. If it does take around 10 months to do those checks it would exceed the 17 months processing time. I hope they get them done sooner than that :(

Hi,
What did you ask them when you emailed them?? I have also heard that if you are on top of things and keep emailing the case gets processed fast, but this was for someone who wasn't from Kabul.

i would say you are just lucky and the case is more straight forward to have it finalized in less than a year, i have emailed them like 4 times for the past 2 yrs mentioning "depression" "missing them" etc - but they will take their time.

Salam dear all,

Emailing unfortunately is a complete waste of time specially when you are expressing your personal feelings and emotions they hardly consider it
