Today I get my passport with Canada Visa finally this stressful process is completed I submitted my passport in Islamabad visa office in VFS 10 NOV 2015 IT almost take 23 days
Hope everyone get thire visa as soon insha'Allah

I wanted to know if it is counted from the day you file or from the date Application is received by the Canadian government?
If I had applied oct 27 2014. supposedly 17 months of approval would be March 2016?

I was told processing time starts when NDVO recieved your file. I am also October 14 2014 applicant and they told me nothing will happen until March 2016, bunch of non sense. We have to wait soon long while the 2015 Indian applicants are getting PPR.

it took her 1000 yrs 2015-1015 = 1000 omg lol i know its a typo, but congrats.

Guess what, there are afghans who waited for 4-5 yrs, hows that sound to you. i know its frustrating.

My MP told me
No travel history....I am sponsoring my husband who is an Afghan national
I ordered notes just waiting to receive them. My case has been silent since October 2014 when we got medical request after that nothing and it's been over 13 months since NDVO recieved our file.

If your eligibility is not passed you wont hear from them till they schedule you for an interview
To know if your eligibility is passed wait for your notes i can relate what you are going through

The medical you submitted was that your first medical or a re medical?

That was our first medical. Would you know how long after your medical is expired before they send request?

i may be wrong but looking at other people on this forum
you get re-medical only after you pass your eligibility

i suggest wait for your notes and stay positive
