Hahaha, whats happen with your Application status, any changes, mine is the same, remember me actually we did the med reassessment on same day.

guys you will never believe that what happened to my case, i received an email from visa office as bellow,

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your email enquiry of August 20th, 2015 to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi, India.

On two occasions, we emailed a Passport Request letter to you to submit your passport to our Islamabad office. This occurred on June 12th and June 15th, 2015 respectively.

In light of this delay and the fact that your medical will expire on September 26th, you will be receiving the medical re-assessment by email shortly.


But in fact i didn't received this email because my application status was changed from IP to DM on 16-June-2015.

Guys i wish this not happen with anyone, this long time waiting is really killing.

Okay so you will have an interview some time soon inshallah ! And if your madical is active then they will work on the background checks it can take upto an year or sometimes if you pass the interview then they will issue you the visa ! The interview is the harder part make sure you and your spouse both go and be confident and know what you are going to say in this forum in the earlier pages you can find sample interview questions that members had from thier interviews you can take a look ! but my wife's medical expired already back in May 2015. I didn't get an email from NDVO to redo meds again.

And also my wife is in Kabul but I am in Canada. Do I have to go with her for interview or she can go alone ???

What do you think what will be next? and I am sharing the email with you guys. Thanks God finally I got something

Please refer to our website to find out how to obtain a police certificate from the country required:

Please comply by the mentioned requirements within 45 days from the date of this e-mail.

Failure to provide us with the requested documents / information within the stipulated time could result in the refusal of your application. Please quote our complete file number on your correspondence.

yes unfortunately, i order note couple of months ago, it is written period 36 months. :-[ :-[

It isn't true it will take same time like India processing time 17 months iam also afghan national but my applications status is IP from Aug 2015 soon insha'Allah I will be submitte pp

I agree With Ahmad shah, Its normal 17 month the max process.

Back in 2013 and 2014 it used to take a long time to process, that was because afghanistan files were being sent to Pakistan. Now NDVO is taking care of this. Many people/ afghans stated it takes around 1 year for the process to be complete. The best thing to do is do MP enquiry. As far as I heard its the best way to get status reports, So Everyone hang in there, It will happen Soon inshallah.
