did you order notes or hear anything from your mp? mine is in process for 2 months as well and i am just fed up with this long distance....it has taken over my life. its not a healthy way to live at all. its torture.

yea men I contact my MP she said the visa officer is waiting for the processing to be done, and I am gonna get my note around first week of next month , but honestly I am going crazy with this bsht i just want to go back home and stay there forever it's too much

I feel as though the Afghans go through intensive background check because those who lied in the past got deported. Which is why they took extra security measures.

Secondly, if you compare us to the " New Delhi 2014 Applicants ", almost all of them are indian and maybe a few from a different country...

What I am trying to say is, the indians are getting IP, DM and PPR right away who have applied mid january to march or June- Augest.

If that is true, This is a discrimination towards our people because they assume us of fraud.

you are very right bro coz India is no 1 in fraud case why they get there spousal visa in months ??? Even they sponsor thier mother thier sister Thier bother and dad in spuosal case they should go thru long background and security check not afghans it is Bshit

I don't know how they process the applications, but I believe it's not India or any other Visa office who decides on the process.

I think the reason AFG's suffer because of the longest delays is because Canadian Government thinks they are a threat to their soil so they do crazy background checks and security checks, in my own opinion.

We send our police certificate to them so what type of security check they do ? they do not believe on our government too?

thats right they don't trust nobody our PCC is 5% they do do thier own security and background check which we don't know when they start and when they fnish that's what my mp told me

What Nick has said is true. The security process features long term history of the applicant, if they had been in the Police, Army or government.

In addition, if your not aware, so many Afghans have faked losing their passport by creating a new Taskira. Some are getting a new passport in another name just to immigrate to Canada.

Its not that they trust our government but they know for a fact that Afghan government officals take bribe and fake original documents. Which is why the Canadian government run their own tests to find the applicants history before it was modified by Afghan officals.


With the rise of the ISIS, it is even more difficult for people to immigrate because its a risk to the Canadians . Which means they will put others before muslims. If your relatitonship is genuine and they see no history of any crimes based on their evaluation, I believe it could be within their promised time of 12 months.

ECAS should be updated every Tuesday, so lets hope and pray our visas come. It sucks to have the long wait but its the extreme muslims killing, and fraud cases that has put us in our situation. We cannot blame the Canadians but ourselves

May be Go Nawaz Go should raise that in UN as well, how does one sponsor mother sister in spouse case? you mean they show fake pics of marrying own mother? and CIC believes it
From what I know its more easy to do fraud in Cousin marriages thus the extra scrutiny on top of security but some AFG cases have been so quick from India CIC
