Hey guyssssss I just called cic call center the agent told me ur file has been transfared to new dheli on 6 march is good or bad I do know I am lil excited and worried any advices

Im hoping it is a good news. I just found out that New Delhi's processing time is increased now to 13 months lol.

No wayyy...I should call them up tomorrow as well to see where my file currently is! I hope it means shorter wait times : ) Maybe they're sending straight-forward cases to NDVO?

salaam brother yea u should call cic call center they ll tell u the location of ur files I called theme tow times today once in the morning around 9am and than around 3pm coz when I called in the morning the agent refused to give me any info coz She asked me where is ur file I told her my file is in Islamabad than she said sorry I can't do anything for u coz we don't have any info about the files who already sent out of Canada even I give her my UCI no but still she said I don't have any info about ur file than when I called in the afternoon I changed my question I told the agent that I want to inquire about my spouse app than she asked me few security questions and put me on hold after she told me ur file is transfared from Islamabad to Delhi on 6 march and she said it is in process and she said they should sent u a conformation but I don't get any conformation yet so lets see guys what gonna happened next best of luck

come on Abdul u should know this not up to u,just fill up ur app and sent it to Mississauga cic office,and it's depend on ur spouse's resident than they ll decide where to sent ur app for farther processing.

Have you heard anything back from NDVO as of yet? I have been hearing some words from here and there about ordering a note or something like that, do you know what is that and have you done it yet or not? After reading your comment, I went to the cic website and found out that the duration is now 13 months for India. Are we going to be on 13 months duration or 12 months duration, any idea?

salaam JAV brother my wife lives in Kabul and I hope so too. but I am so confused coz first Ottawa than Islamabad and now dehli our files are moving around the world i don't know what gonna happen next today I called my representative to send a inquiry to new dehli so lets wait and watch tawakal ba kodawand bzrok

Walekum assalam Bro jan. Well i am guessing it will now be 13 months if they follow the New Delhi's timeline but our cases are unique now to me. I heard about notes as well but I have not had a chance to investigate more. I am sure Peerzad jan might be able to help as he requested for notes.

On February 12, I received an e-mail from CIC-M stating that my application has been forwarded to NDVO. I was wondering how long it takes for NDVO to receive and acknowledge that the application has been received. Thanks!

It's March 19 and still no updates on ECAS that the application has been received by NDVO

It might take longer than a month. I noticed some people get that even after 2 months. But i don't think they have an exact timing.

Thank you for the tips...I called and the agent was kind of hesitant about giving me information so I said I knew people who hadn't received any formal letters but when they called, they found out their files were in NDVO. So he said ok let me check and guess what turns out my file has been transferred to NDVO on March 6th!! :-\ :-\ He said I would have to call the New Delhi office to find out if the India timeline will apply to my file or not...don't know what to think anymore! gah!

Welcome dear, did you get another email after Jan? We all almost go another email to submit the landing fees and Police Clearance Certificate if not already submitted. I think only Peerzad was also asked for his Passport.

Salam and yes I received it today a email from New Delhi asking for the proof of payment (landing fees) and Police Clearance Certificate but they send it for my husband but the same email for me, but Yasmeen I already paid for the fee I dont know what to do next I am confused, it stated that if I dont send this my application might be messed.
