A question: how long does it take to get the first letter from CIC Canada for acceptance of your application?

َAccording to the CIC website, the complete application take 85 days to be processed and you will get the letter or acceptance or rejection in that period of time, but uncompleted application will be send back to you within 85 days and you have to resend it and it takes another 85 days for acceptance or rejection, so I advised those who send their application to Mississauga to review with different people in order to check that everything that they need is there. However, the best option is that you go according to the "Check List" to make sure nothing is missing. brother I hope that this helps.

it does really help people to understand the process and time, so i do appreciate that you help people and educating them.
85day means 4months right? it is really a long time. actually i did complete the check list but in Aug 2014 there was a new form (updated version) so they told me to fill out the updated version though there is nothing major difference but i did and resent it.

do you have any process time at top of your mind like: how long each of them takes like first letter, then interview then ????? just wanna have an idea.

Application sent 20-Sept-2012 to Mississauga
Application received to Islamabad on, 20-Oct-2012
Second medical on, May-2014
Decision on, January-2015 PPR request on same day.

My application got the processing too long.

u should read afg-HR 's post once more he is telling u 85 days NOT 85 business days ! And if u still gussing they count business days only than dont camplain because the application processing time in NDVO is gonna be more then 18 months for u only.

oh ok brother that's nice coz the good thing is that its looks like they Weived the interview for u which is very good sign but have u ever try contact ur MP or order ur note? To see what is going on with ur files

ُWhen I didn't mention the "business day", so it means it is calender day what it means that all 30 days of the month will be counted. In this case 85 days is 2 months and 25 days.
