i am working here in Canada under LCP. Came here June 2016 and my status is going to expire April this year as it is based on my passports expiration date. I applied for extension February 2018 and i am only waiting for the decision. My question is, do i have to finish my 2 year contract or must i go back home accordingly to my TRV and work permit expiration? If the extion i applied for will get approve and i decided to just go back home after the completion of my 2year contract excluding the extension, what certain procedure must i do if the extension gets approved? We signed a new contract for the extension and that is another 2years.
