Just a piece of advice: I see a lot of people always under or near the cutoff score who keep waiting for the next draw to go down. My (humble) advice to you is to keep retaking the IELTS and work hard on improving your scores. This is a much better investment than hoping the cutoff score would go down as it may not dip under the 420s.
In my case for example: my husband and I both have the same profile (same age, he has a higher education level, same years of experience) but he scored CLB7 I scored CLB 10. When we tested the scores with him as a primary versus me as a primary it made a huge difference: 413 vs 475! So focus on that, it's the one action you can take to improve your CRS scores in less than a month.
Good luck!

Same here, improving the language score can do wonders for your application. At the same time they will have a better control over the language and make life easier in CA. Good luck.

Exactly! Not to mention the points can be increased within a month instead of hoping that the cutoff will hit their required score. Adaptability is one of the most important criteria as I noticed in my readings
