Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi all, I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I'm a qualified professional accountant who worked over 6 months in my first job in Canada. Going by the NOC code, the title of my job is 'Senior Financial Analyst' (and should be code: 1112), however my duties are 100% aligned with those in code (1111). My reference letter clearly aligns those with code '1111' becuase it's the truth.

If I receive an ITA, I was going to write a LOE stating that my duties were in line with those of '1111' as I was working within the 'Financial Accounting & Reporting' Team. To the letter I am going to attach my (T4), copy of my tax return, and employment contract.

Will this suffice? Thank you all for your replies.

Just further I should mention that ordinarily 'Senior financial Analyst' would go under code '1112'.

Hi Asivad, and anyone else that may be able to assist. Can you please help with my inquiry? thank you in advance.

If your only concern is that the job title doesn't match with your chosen NOC (which, in turn, matches with your job responsibilities), there is nothing to be explained here. What matters is which NOC main duties match your job responsibilities. Your reference letter alone would suffice without any supporting documents but there is no harm in submitting those documents.

Hi Asivad, many thanks for your prompt reply. It's much appreciated.

personal experience:
My reference letter shows "analyst", but my job duties are for "other financial officers", so I put noc 1114. Had no questions from the immigration side. Hope it re-assures you with your choice :)
