Hi all , I have a very specific question to ask and so sorry to trouble you all , but i really need a sound advice on this.

I have started working since June 18 2013.worked continuously, but went on an unpaid leave (to home country) from march 1 2014 to April 6 2014 (roughly 5 weeks) and now back to work again . had i not taken the unpaid leave , it would have been simpler , but now if i were to ask what is the minimum safest date/period (of work experience) for me to wait and apply for CEC . I have some family concerns to address as a result of which i have to leave the country for couple months and so I want to work just for the safest minimum required period.
PS : Many people have suggested working 13 months to be on the safe side and i want your advice on this.

Thank you all in advance and sorry for the trouble again.

Regards,

Regards,

Without your unpaid leave you would become eligible 52 weeks after June 18th, 2013. So roughly on June 18th, 2014.
However, you were off unpaid for close to 40 days this year. You will have to make up for this time, by adding it on
top of June 18th, 2014. So you would become eligible around the end of July 2014.
I would then give a one or two week buffer, in case of miscalculations and apply beginning/mid August 2014.
