Advice please!

Hi,
Can anybody please tell us, we are confused. We are in South Africa
We just received our LMIA and Job contract.
But what now?
Must we apply for works permit before we fly or must we take our LMIA and Job offer/ contract and apply at border gate of Canada?
All of the internet sites that we have read countless times give us conflicting information.
What happens if we do get to border control and we dont have a correct form or we dont have what they want?

You have to apply for a closed work permit from South Africa before you travel. You cannot travel to Canada until the work permit is approved.

No - you cannot apply at the border for the work permit. Applying at the border is only possible for individuals who hold visa exempt passports. South African passports are not visa exempt.

Note that the estimated processing time for a work permit from SA is 17 weeks.

Also, this question was previously answered for you in the link below. So not sure why you're asking again. You won't be allowed on an airplane with just a job offer and LMIA.
