Advice please - seeking PR as Buddhist Monk

I came here to Canada on WX-1 visa last September 2011.
I know that I should have a paid salary for my work if I happen to apply for the Canadian Experience class PR. Does that mean I should have a tax file or a just a letter stating that I was paid by the organization that I was invited to Canada?
