Hi all,
My husband applied for fsw april 2008,and processing started in may,we got a letter from ghana early feb saying we didnot include the NOC code for my husbnd's occupation(banking)we were askd to fill a new form n we did,my question now is this:when u look on the cic website, the job closest to my husband's job is finabcial manager, but if u check the canadavisa.com website and u click financial manager,it shows banking with it's code,i'm a bit confused,i don't know if he qualifies or not?

All response will b appreciated

Thanks

At the point the best guess is the code you used must be exactly one on the 38 list. If not then you aren't going to be qualified. The immigration officers won't go out of their way and do the guess work for you and try to put you into one of the 38s.

dont worry about the job title, look at the main duties and if your husband fits financial manager, then fill that.

A banker can be a financial manager (as defined by HRDC).
