Hi peeps,
I'm an active candidate in EE pool,my scores are not enough to get iTA.
I'm from Srilanka,my husband is planning to do his masters in Canada..basically it's a 1year program.what is the procedure for him to apply for PR..is there any chances to do so on completion of his masters? How practical is it??

Thanks in advance

Note that studying in Canada in no guarantee to receive an ITA. You will only get more points, in the following manner:

After finishing his studies, he may apply for a Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP). This allows him to work in Canada. This experience can be used to gain more points and to qualify for CEC under the Express Entry stream. Plus, the Master's degree will also provide additional points.

He may also be able to find an employer during that time who is prepared to obtain an LMIA for him (still pretty difficult to do).

Thanks a lot for the prompt reply, actually I'm the main applicant..as I'm unable to leave my kids and go,my husband is going instead.so in that case will it add more points for me? I thought he can apply for PR on a PGWP

So how long will this whole process take? Like 2year after completing his masters?thAnks much, will do
