The last topic I posted was about my residency obligation. In a nutshell, my mother & I became PRs in 2004. We stayed roughly a month and a half during the 5 year period. We returned before our card expired in Aug 2009. We applied for renewal in Jan 2010 and we pleaded under H&C grounds. We received a response and got a residency questionnaire. We completed this and sent it in. Now we have an interview with CIC in 2 weeks.
My question is: What should we expect during this interview? And how long do they take to make a determination regarding our status, will they tell us right there or not? We asked for urgent processing because My mother's mother is dying and we really needed to head to our home country.
