Hi everyone! I am going to start the application on sponsoring my spouse and I'm a bit confused so any advice and help will be appreciated.
first of, do I have to submit everything on the checklist including the passport and medical all at once? My mom was telling me that I need a request from immigration first.

it's advisable to send the medical and police check at the same time. you have to send passport photocopies at the time of application, not the actual passport. rules are different for outland vs inland. so you will have to be a lot more specific to get better help here.

Thanks!

I'm here in Canada and my husband is in the Philippines. Would it be just a walk-in then if he goes to a panel physician and have his medical exam done?

most likely he needs to call ahead and make an appointment.

Yes he will have to call the clinic to reserve a spot. Everyone with a reservation for that day lines up before 8am then they process you on a first come first served basis. (There is also lots of info -- and contributors -- on this site in Tagolag, if that helps you. Use the "Search" option to type words or phrases (in ENG or TAG) for which you're looking to learn more about & you will usually find lots of links. Good luck!
