I applied for two tourist visa and got rejected, i did mentionate it when they ask in the background form
our plan with my partner was to go to canada as a tourist, marry in there and extend the tourist visa
finally it didnt work and we are applying outland(we married in my country)
my question is, do i explain our plan or mencionate in the development of our relationship part?
would it be seen as something bad? ???

I'm kinda worry about our situation, we talked 8 months by internet, then 6 months in person, at the 2nd i got tourist visa rejected and at the 3rd month we decided to marry in my country(mostly to be together than because of the marriage itself)
so i dont know if the IO would see it like i want to go canada more than i care about my relationship

Please any advice would be very apreciated

according to my lawyer if rejection of tourist visa mentioned in the application form then it strengthens the case that you want to be with your partner. My partner did mention that visa was rejected twice but did not elaborate the intentions like the way you did. It is self-evident when one applies for tourist visa, it is the purpose of meeting his/her partner. It also depends on the visa processing country and how they view your declaration. I was told Mexico does not view it favorably if someone declares his/her intention. I guess if the applicant is from France, Britain or U.S. they wouldn't care...maybe someone who had applied like the way you did can answer this question better. I think visa officer looks at your track record of your relationship with your partner than about what you answered in your application form. You can lie but if the relationship is only two months old with no proven documentation of telephone calls/email/trip photos then visitor visa or no visitor visa, there is no solid proof of relationship there

hi there friend i just recieved an email 2 days ago from my vo said that my interview has been waived but inorder for them to further process my application they told me that they need an explaination as to why i have lived in the usa. the thing is, i have lost all my documents accept for social security n my high school diploma. they requested for student and work permit when i lived there from ... which i dont have please does anybody have any same situation what the vo is requesting exactly.

I havent send the papers yet, so i think i will not go in too much detail about it
i do have proof of relationship pictures with my family and chat logs, i guess that helps

thanks for the answer =)

When they refused you, they gave you a letter, right? Just answer 'yes' to the question, and for details, refer them to the refusal letter(attach a copy) or just briefly quote what was said in the letter.

They want to know what you were doing in the US. If you studied or worked, then provide dates and copies of your work and study permits. If you don't have this, contact the schools you attended for your transcripts or employers for letters. I believe you can also contact USCIS for copies of these documents. Either way, you have to provide them.
