Dear All,
I am in a situation after sending my docs and applying online on SFU portal. I m supposed to pay an admission fee of $75 but their portal would not let me. I tried several times but it simply denies the card. I called up my bank and they say a transaction has been declined, the card is okay and thats all they can help. 1 more thing that bothers me is that the SFU portal is not even asking for the 3-digit pin on the back of the card. It only asks for the card number, address associated to it, name and thats it. Has anyone paid fee on the SFU portal? or anyone who could help me out in this? The last date is fast approaching. Please help me out

PM assad100101 , He is admitted to SFU too..

im unable to help him as i cant open his attachments in my browser, some virus in my computer. it is very slow.

when u pay application fees all u have to do is to provide personal info and credit card details and you are done. im not sure why he is having issues with paying fees.

Which one are you using? Visa? MasterCard? American Express? I had a similar problem once when I was trying to register for GRE on the ETS website. I called the bank up (RBS) and they had no idea why it didn't work, and they always came up with pretty lame excuses. So I used my father's MasterCard instead and it worked.

I have also come across websites that don't ask for the 3-digit pin, so you don't need to worry about that. I suggest you try a different card

@ Asad: how long did it take for you to receive the confirmation in the email? The portal says there is no more fee to pay but email confirmation is pending
