ADMISSION DECISION TAKING TOO LONG

Hi all,

I checked my admission status today and it shows that i have been officially admitted. It indicates "ADMITTED"

It came along with some schorlaship.Which i have confirmed online.

Just how soon do you think i can get the I20 IN MY Hands?

If Sent by courier 5-6 days. Sent by airmail 2-3 weeks.

Better use terms like "offer letter" or "admission letter" or "letter of acceptance" . I20 is exclusively used by American universities. I'm saying this just because an average reader can understand it

Call the university, see whether they will send it by express courier (DHL, FedEx) or Air Mail first.
If express courier, then 3 working days, if air mail, 14 working days approx.

If you need the acceptance letter on an urgent basis, talk to DHL office in your country, there is a process of using DHL urself to bring back your doc from schools. I myself used it few months back.

It is like, you pay here in DHL, a little extra money and 1way return back cost. DHL will contact your school, pick up your letter and bring it back to you country and delivery it to your house. Its a pretty handy services indeed.

I have just been notified that the offer letter was dispatched yesterday through DHL COURIER.

Hope to get it soon.

Thanks Nazia2k,am not so familiar with these terms for i thought I20 cuts across all countries.Didnt know its only for the Americans.However also note that CANADA is a north American country with no much distingction from the US.
