Addtional document request from - cic confusion - help

Hello All

I have got additional document request in my account for a police certificate and got 60 day deadline. after receiving this request I submitted it asap. I got this certificate 2 days ago and already submitted to cic.

will cic now wait on my application for 60 days and then look my file? or will they get immediately notified that I have indeed uploaded the document?
