Address not updated in Passport

My passport was issued in 2010 and it has old address.I moved to a new place in 2011 and my ID card (Aadhar Card)has the updated address.

1)I have already applied for Express Entry .Do you need to get my passport updated with my current address?
Also ,I need to apply for Police Clearance Certificate.So Do I need to get the address updated in the passport before applying for PCC?

2)Also,for proof of funds,Can I show Fixed Deposit?I have a fixed deposit on my name and my mother is the nominee.Can I use this Fixed Deposit?
