Address History when travelling for a year

I'm filling in my 10 year address history for the PR application. For one of those years I travelled through Central and South America, staying in hostels the whole time. I did not have a permanent place to stay in South Africa (where I lived before and after), I packed up all my things and left the boxes at a family friend's house. I'm not sure what to put as my address here. I don't have any family members in South Africa to use as a place of residence. How should I handle this?
