maybe you complained you lost your address and so they gave you one!!! hahaha

now you have a reason to call CIC without being penalized by delay.

Adress is disappearing and double sponsor process since two weeks. No possitive or negative and not yet ecas glitch fix.
 
Hello everyone Im new here. I have a question. I log in with the FIle number (letter and numbers) and use my husband;s information. (I am sponsoring him)
I read that you log in with both your and your husband/wife's info. What number do I have to use to log in with my information? I tried using the same file number and its not valid.'and by the way his address disappeared last weel too.
Thanks a bunch for your answer.

you have separate files. if you use his file number, use his birthday and place also. Fill in the type of file correctly, if it is client number, immigration file number, etc.

Client ID is your Person who sponsor and File No is Principal Applicant or who is being sponsored.
to see with client ID you must use your info and file id sponsored person name and DB

do not worry much about the e-cas. sometimes they do not change even if you already have the passport/visa with you. If you are sure you have submitted everything they asked, there should be no problem.

it means, in my ecas address info, it was my correct address, but after I send them a update info form they requested, after they received it ( my timeline says thank you for the requested info Aug 19) now its not my anymore, someones in Edmonton.... havdnt been able to get through the CIC line for days.

could they updated the wrong form to my file?!?
 
oceans-end - i think it will be a good idea to get in touch with cic and make sure they have the right file address. just incase they mail something to you during this period, you don't want to miss anything or delay anything.

guys, my address still has not appeared and it's almost 2 weeks since it went missing. I'm disappointed as many in work visa section are receiving some sort of update post address disappearing. Many have even received PPR.

i think many are going still missing, to date i have not heard of any address's appearing again. Lets hope it is not a glitch and they are working on our files.
