Address Disappeared - CAIPS Notes Ordered

Hi Guys,

I checked My E-Status Today .. My Address has Disappeared .. I applied under FSW-3 Jan 2010 sent Documents to Buffalo May 2010 and AOR in October 2010. (E-Status In PROCESS with RBVO Details)

** I have Ordered CAIPS Notes Last Month.. Do you think the CAIPS notes has to do with the disappearance of the address or they actually checking my file in Buffalo???

I also applied in Jan, 2010.......You address will come by next tuesday, it was happened with me as well.

Hi, I was reading through your post and and understand that your application is not being processed at faster pace. As I understand, CIC has a queue-jumping processing policy, where CIC only process the application who applied in the current fiscal year first (priority) and if CIC runs out of those application then CIC looks to those who applied in the previous fiscal year. Thus, those who are not processed within one year may never have their files finalized.

To me, you have two options if you want to get you application on the processing track as opposed to being side-tracked indefinitely. The first is to re-apply if your job is on the Occupation List or under your LMO. The second option is to ask the Federal Court of Canada to order Immigration Canada to process your file.

I have been told that a lawyer in Canada will be launching such a suit on behalf of over 100 applicants such as you. If you want to participate in that litigation, I will try to put you in touch with that lawyer. Thank you.
