Address change in renewed indian passport

Hello guys
Did anyone had an experince of change in address in the indian passport.
Being on student visa(going to apply for work permit)
Did the passport renewal at toronto bls. When received the permanent address is mentioning the canada address. The apartment is under the applicant name itself. But how is it possible? Any idea? Renewed for 10years!

as you were living in canada, at the time of renewal, they put ur canadian address in indian passport.

This is perfectly normal .

But that becomes the permanent address in the indian passport and will that have any problem in India?

It was the address of India as like the last passport mentioned.

Send an Email to Mr. Satender K Yadav, Vice Consul, Passports, Indian High Commission @ Toronto at
vc-cpv@cgitoronto.ca and a Copy to: cgindia@cgitoronto.ca

tell them you want your Indian address which you have filled on the forms, as your permanent address on the new passport not the Canadian 1

and wait for reply.

Where do you ACTUALLY live and where do you get your mail? CIC does not care about "what address is written in you passport"

But as an indian holding indian passport it will be a problem for indian formalities.
