Address change in Canada!

Hi there,

My wife landed about 10 months ago. We are moving house this week. I was wondering if she (sponsored) and I (sponsor) need to update our folder respectively with the new address to CIC? I am asking this because I did sign something with CIC to sponsor her so I guess they must be able to track me.

I remembered when I landed (inland application)the officer while briefing us,he said if you're going to change address or employment please don't send us any updates..it will go to category G..category garbage....

no need to inform CIC.
