Address Change in BC before Citizenship Test

Hello all,

I live in BC and recently changed my address as I moved from my old place to a different address within Vancouver. In BC, the licensing authority ICBC sends you a sticker with your new address to stick on top of the old address in your driver’s license, instead of issuing you an entirely new DL. I wonder if this sticker will be a cause for concern during the knowledge test when I will need to use my DL as a piece of ID.

Are there any BC residents here that have faced this before? Looking for your input.

To be clear, I applied for my citizenship early May 2021, I haven’t received the test invite yet but I’ve been following the April thread which seems to be seeing a lot of movement. So I’m asking this question in anticipation of the test invite.

Thank you!
