additional information or interview?

trying to understand the way CIC works i have one more question:if they are not pleased with the prrof of relationship already submitted do they ask interview immediatelY?or additional proof?if additional proof do they make specific what kind of proof they want?and if yes,in case that the applicant sends a different kind of proof what happens?
and question no 2:in case that this additional proof still not enough for them do they reject u or they call u for interview?

I think it depends on the VO. I recall reading of an applicant going thru Morocco and it seemed like the officer had decided already, even before the interview. I don't think that style is everywhere, we would see more of those posts here if it was.
