hi everyone,

I ll apply for CEC as principal applicant, my husband will not accompany with me.

Obviously, my husband has to fill out and sign the additional family information form. However, i dont know where he should write his name in the form, should he fill his name as applicant ? ( he's not applicant or accompanying with me) or as spouse? So confusing... Please help

Applicant.

Your husband should fill 'Additional family info' form as an applicant ( your name as spouse) and provide his family details..( father, mother, siblings)...

You both will different forms....

Ur applicant in your form

Ur husband will be applicant in his form

Thanks all.

I still wonder if my husband should accompany with me or not ? and im not sure my application will be approved with him because my salary is not really high and Im just in NoC B . In contrast, will CIC find st strange in my application because my husband 's not accompanying with me? It must be a consider for them, right? What should i do?

salary doesnt matter as long as u meet all the requirements. if u dont want ur husband to accompany u, u must provide reason why he's not accompanying.

I wouldn't worry too much about it since he's already a pr holder. u can still inform immigration about ur marital status and provide them with marriage certificate. all the best

You should notify CIC about the change in your marital status. I believe you have to fill out IMM0008 to amend your status to 'married' and include the marriage certificate and PR card.

www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM0008ENU_2D.pdf

Under dependants, the forms says, ".... You must include your spouse, dependant children, etc who are not already permanent residents or citizens of Canada."

I take it your husband got married after he 'landed'?

Hi UJBABY! Good day to everyone. I really need some advice and I'm very worried as of now.

I started my application under Quebec immigration November 2011 and received notice for an interview JUNE 2012. I got married January 2012 and proceeded with the interview without my spouse but I brought with me my marriage certificate during the interview and the officer was aware I got married - I got my CSQ . I sent back my original csq to quebec office august 2012 and requested if my husband can be included so we can land together in canada soon. My file is received under federal application september 2012 . MY QUESTIONS ARE:

1. Will they reject my application because I requested for my husband to be included or will we be interviewed again so we can have a new csq?

2. My federal application is received september 2012, am I still waiting for a medical exam if I don't have my csq? I know medical exams are valid for one year, will my spouse do medical exam togehter with me if we don't know yet if we can have a new csq? How long do we have to wait for medical exams?

Please help me.

1. You will not be rejected for including your husband(you did the right thing). As you are married, you need a new CSQ as a couple and there may or may not be an interview. Could have saved yourself all this waiting had you notified them immediately after your marriage in January.

2. It appears you sent the Federal application using the CSQ that was issued to you as a single person eventhough you are now married?
Well, you need the new CSQ first and then you can expect a medical request at some point.

Hi SENORITABELLA. (1.)Hopefully there will be no more interview and soon will have my new csq. Will they be calling me if it is denied or approved for my husband to be included?
(2.) Yup, I declared I'm married in my fed application but used my first CSQ. I'm always praying that we can have it sooner. A bit anxious at this time.

They will probably send the decision by mail.
