I have read the guide and some things seems contradictory, so i have filled the form in as follows.

applicant - me
spouse - my canadian spouse
my mother
and father
and brother.

I am getting sponsored by my Canadian spouse, is this correct?

can you please clearly ask your question again. it's confusing

cheers,

I'm sorry. I am filling in the additional family info form. - IM5406.
I am unsure as to how to fill it out, so as I understand, do it as follows ;

applicant - me
spouse - i am being sponsored by my canadian spouse
then i add my mothers, fathers and brothers details even though
they are not coming to Canada.
Is that correct?

if you r talking about :
IMM 0008 then - NO
IMM 5406 -YES

applicant - you
spouse- your canadian wife who is sponsoring you

Yes, for Form IMM5406, you are correct. Be sure you carefully read the "Notes" in the form in each signature block. They can be confusing. For example - in Section A: DON'T sign if you have listed a spouse or common-law partner. In Section B: DO sign if no children are listed in Section B. In Section C: no signature required either way. In Section D: DO sign certifying that all info in the form is correct. Sheez!!
